Project Designer – Loveland, CO - The Project Designer will be responsible for using AutoCad and Revit software to create technical drawings and specifications of agricultural retail buildings. Duties will include reviewing standards and plan sketches to create detailed drawings that are based on the CPS prototype building designs. Projects are located across North America and the Project Designer will be expected to tailor the drawings and specifications to meet regional climate, jurisdictional, site specific requirements ect.  This position will work closely with the Engineering Director and Project Architect to ensure that high quality deliverables are produced for the contractor’s use in building the project.


Key Tasks:

  • Create detailed drawing sets that include: site, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Interpret and apply local and national building codes and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in identifying potential design improvements and cost savings for projects
  • Understand project requirements and make revisions to drawings and specifications as needed for contractor’s use in construction


  •  High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Architectural or engineering background preferred with knowledge of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering and Architectural Practices
  • Ability to sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively
  • Ability to employ creative and innovative thought processes
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ideal candidates will have a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel overnight occasionally
  • An working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or agricultural design


  • Experience with agricultural processing systems is desirable
  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field, or relevant technical experience
