Responsible for the planning, estimating, scheduling, and coordinating Static Equipment maintenance work orders.  Ensure all jobs are planned and include Process Safety Management (PSM) and safety standards.

 

What you will do:

  • Review requests for work, needs of requestor, visits job site to scope work, & estimate the labor and material required
  • Order stocked and non-stocked material
  • Develop Weekly Schedule – Insuring that all resources are available
  • Develop work plans and standards for repetitive jobs
  • Track status of work order to completion/closure
  • Works with engineering and reliability departments as required to ensure technically sound job plans
  • Work with QC dept. to ensure correct welding, flange make-up, insulation, and paint QC documentation applied to job plans
  • Assemble job boxes with parts, special tools, and work instructions
  • Assist in root cause failure identification
  • Develop and Update standard job plans (Asset Activities) for repeat routine jobs
  • Develop project plans for large jobs and coordinate implementation with multiple contractor companies.
  • Maintain communication with equipment/service vendors
  • Prepare Isometric drawing’s, diagrams, and other sketches to communicate needs of the job

What you will bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associates degree in Industrial Technology preferred
  • Degreed: Minimum of 3-5 years in Industrial Maintenance Planning in a chemical manufacturing operation or extensive related field experience.
  • Non-Degreed:  Minimum of 10 years Maintenance Planning and/or Maintenance Supervisory Experience along with at least 3 years planning experience
  • Possess knowledge of production systems and static equipment
  • Knowledge in pipe fitting and welding craft skills
  • Ability to Formulate/Read Sketches, Drawings, and Specifications
  • Understanding of the Maintenance Function within the Organization
  • Broad Working Knowledge of Technology and ASME and API Codes/Standards
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration)
